The chemical component Cr in the grate reacts with oxygen in the air to form a dense oxide film on the surface of the grate, which prevents further oxidation of the grate and eliminates the fatigue cracking of the grate surface and the tendency of the wheel cracking. However, Cr is prone to creep under high temperature. In order to improve the strength and performance of the grate, the composition of Cr is optimized. A new type of grate with high heat resistance, high toughness and high strength was developed by adding Ni, Mo, V and other alloy elements. Compared with heat-resistant ductile iron parts, the service life of high chromium alloy grate is increased by 3 times, the cost is reduced by more than 20%, and the number of downtime is reduced, the labor intensity of workers is reduced, and the service life of non-high chromium material is increased from 90-180 days to more than 2 years.

 

The high breathable arch grate device for sintering includes the grate main body, both sides of the grate main body are symmetrically provided with a wavy outer wall, and the concave surface of the wavy outer wall is provided with a grate ear, when two grate main bodies are arranged side by side, the corresponding grate ears on the two grate main bodies contact and support each other, and the outer edge of the grate main body is an arch end face. The upper groove and the lower groove are arranged on the opposite side of the main grate and the arch end face. The upper groove and the lower groove are used to fix the grate device on the sintering equipment.

The space formed by the contact between the grate lugs is used for gas passing to improve the permeability, and can effectively avoid the material falling under the barrier of the grate lugs. In addition, the supporting effect of the arched end face makes certain pores at the bottom of the material, which increases the permeability, and the grate can withstand greater pressure under the arched environment to prevent the deformation of the grate.

The high breathable arch grate improves the air permeability of the sinter layer, improves the distribution of air flow at the bottom, and reduces the erosion of heat excess at the bottom of the sinter thick layer on the heat insulation sleeve at the bottom of the car and the grate itself. It not only improves the sintering technical index, but also reduces the grate loss.
