What kinds of alloy steel can be divided according to the use?

High chrome cast iron is the abbreviation of high chrome white abrasion cast iron, is a good performance and special attention to wear material; it is much higher than alloy steel wear resistance, much higher than the general white cast iron toughness, strength, it also has good high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, coupled with convenient production, moderate cost, and known as one of the best contemporary abrasive wear materials.
High chrome cast iron is the third generation of wear-resistant material developed after ordinary white cast iron nickel hard cast iron. Due to the characteristics of high chromium cast iron itself, high chromium cast iron has much higher toughness, high temperature strength, heat resistance and wear resistance than ordinary cast iron. High chrome cast iron has been praised as the best contemporary abrasive wear material, and increasingly widely used.
The good wear resistance of high chromium cast iron mainly depends on its matrix organization and the type and distribution characteristics of carbide.
High chrome cast iron is a multiple alloy with Fe, Cr and C as the basic components. The matrix of the newly solidified high-chromium cast iron is the austenite, which is stable after heating to a higher temperature and is saturated by elements such as C and Cr. When the temperature decreases, the austenitic transition will occur. Under normal conditions, high chrome cast iron presents a multiphase organization with mainly austenite. The cast iron of this tissue is used at high temperature to give full play to the potential of the material itself.
High chromium cast iron is chromium system white cast iron with chromium content between 12% and 28%. Due to the large amount of chromium, the M3C carbide in white mouth iron becomes M7C3 carbide. This alloy carbide is very hard, giving high chromium cast iron good wear resistance. On the other hand, M7C3 carbide is isolated in rod during solidification, which improves the toughness of high chromium cast iron to a certain extent

The implementation standard of high chromium cast iron in America is ASTMA532M, BS4844 for Britain, DIN1695 for Germany and NFA32401 for France. In the former Soviet Union, Russia developed 12-15% Cr, 3-5.5% Mn, wall thickness of 200mm ball mill lining board, and now implements the ҐOCT7769 standard. In particular, it is worth mentioning that in the past a century, the United States has made outstanding contributions to the anti-grinding white cast iron. In 1928, the company first invented the nickel hard cast iron, which pushed the anti-wear cast iron technology to an unprecedented height. In 1974, "Mystery 1" and "Mystery 2" were displayed at the Dusseldorf exhibition. That is, classic high chrome resistant cast iron 153 (Cr15Mo3) and 1521 (Cr15Mo2Cu)
